The De La Salle Santiago Zobel School (DLSZ) Special PE Floorball Program proudly celebrates the outstanding achievement of its representatives from Zobel IBK, who clinched three (3) bronze medals in the Storvretacupen Singapore 2025, the largest Floorball tournament in the region, held from June 18 to 22, 2025.
Among the standout players were Jayve Jairus Beterbo (DLSZ 2028) and Jhiro Leandro Beterbo (DLSZ 2030), who earned exclusive invitations to compete under two (2) of the top Floorball academies in Singapore. Their participation marked not only a personal milestone but also a proud moment for DLSZ as they showcased Filipino talent on an international stage.
The event is organized by the Youth Floorball Academy in collaboration with Storvreta IBK. The tournament aims to bring the iconic Storvretacupen and Storvreta Summercamp to Singapore, offering training camps and opportunities for players and coaches to learn from Swedish coaches and Super League stars.
Guiding them throughout the tournament was PE and Health Unit Head, Mr. Jay-R Beterbo. His leadership and dedication were instrumental in the team’s success and in reinforcing the mission of the Special PE Program to develop globally competitive student-athletes.
This remarkable feat continues to solidify DLSZ’s commitment to excellence in physical activity engagement and holistic education through its Special PE Program, called S.H.A.P.E. Zobel, which nurtures both skill and character in aspiring young athletes.
