DLSZ proudly honors the remarkable achievements of our Goals for Excellence in Mathematics (GEM) students at the 11th St. Bede (Eureka) Math and Science Quiz Bee on April 4, 2025, at San Beda College Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
The contest united 15 teams from six (6) involved schools, highlighting excellence and passion in Mathematics and Science. With steadfast resolve and keen intellect, our DLSZ Mathletes once more earned prestige for our school, triumphantly defending their championship title in a fierce demonstration of academic prowess.

In a thrilling twist, two (2) DLSZ teams from the Alabang campus ended up tied for First Place, leading to an exciting final round to decide the Overall Champion. Ultimately, Team B triumphed, securing the Gold Medal, whereas Team A proudly returned with the Silver Medal. Our Vermosa team (Team C) also excelled, achieving Fifth Place overall in a challenging group of experienced competitors.

With the help of Ms. Jhuly-An Villanueva, Mr. Harold Floren, Ms. Pryvilen Retuya, Mr. Ezrel Alucilja, and the GEM coaches, our students were meticulously trained in the fields of earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics, respectively, to prepare them for the said competition. Kudos to them for their unwavering dedication, expertise, and passion in guiding our students toward academic excellence and competitive readiness.
This impressive accomplishment signifies consecutive wins for DLSZ at the St. Bede Quiz Bee and highlights the students’ commitment, teamwork, and outstanding performance. Their achievement showcases the exceptional mentorship from their Science and GEM coaches and the steadfast backing of the DLSZ community.
Kudos to all our amazing mathletes and their coaches! May this accomplishment motivate more young individuals to strive for academic success.
