Congratulations to the DLSZ HS students for top awards in the Global English Language Olympiad of Southeast Asia (GELOSEA) International Round 2024 held last April 27- 30, 2024 at the Royal Lotus Hotel Da Nang, Vietnam.
Out of 180 participants, our DLSZ students competed and won also under the different categories such as Kindergarten and Primary Levels 1-6: Reading Comprehension, Analogy, Vocabulary and Spelling, Grammar and Correct Usage, and Secondary Levels: Reading Comprehension, Analogy, Vocabulary and Spelling, Grammar and Correct Usage, Essay Writing

The GELOSEA is an international competition in English for Kindergarten, six Primary Levels (Grades 1 to 6), four Secondary Levels (Secondary 1 to 4) and one Senior Secondary Level (Grade 11 & 12). It aims to promote excellence and proficiency in the use of English language through friendly global competitions and to promote Southeast Asia’s tourism, with Philippines as the first destination, then Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and other SEA countries to other country partners worldwide.
