As the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) placed the National Capital Region (NCR) and 38 other areas under Alert Level 1, the Department of Education in Imus, Cavite, approved the limited face-to-face activities in DLSZ Vermosa Campus that will run from March 7 to 14, 2022.
G12 students get to experience their class picture being taken at the Grand staircase of the SHS Building, a tradition during pre-pandemic times.
Only fully vaccinated Grade 12 students with parental consents were allowed to be part of this pilot limited face-to-face on-campus sessions that were planned by the Student Clubs and Activities Office (SCAO), Student Representative Coordinating Council (SRCC), Campus Ministry Office (CMO), and were assisted by the Senior High School administrators and teachers and the Administrative Services Department.
The activities include Holy Mass, socialization, mini-concert by the band, Jablau, composed of fellow batchmates, campus tour where they visited their respective classrooms, and plant propagation. All DLSZ activities follow the return-to-school protocol and guidelines set by the school to minimize the risk of infection for COVID-19.
A Holy Mass to mark the start of the limited face-to-face activities. The students’ first time to physically socialize with their classmates.
Jablau rocks the stage. Plant Propagation Activity supervised by the City Green.
This is the first on-campus activity since the start of the pandemic.
