The Art Unit, in collaboration with the Learning Resource Center (LRC), conducted recently two events which were successfully participated in by both teachers and students. Aimed at giving our hard working teachers a respite from the usual hustle and bustle of everyday work, the teachers were given a treat to express themselves visually in a Win-Lose or Draw battle across all Levels. The Seniors came out triumphant bagging the SM certificates worth Php3,000 prize . This was followed by the Grade 8 and Sophomore levels, respectively.
Likewise, for the students, a Belen-Making Contest was held for all high school levels. Each section sent in a representative to work on the Belen. This collaboration saw the participants unite their thoughts into one cohesive idea. This contest was won by the Seniors, Juniors and the Sophomores as First, Second and Third respectively. The Belen that should have a dimension of 4’ X 4’ X 4’ are now on display at their respective areas. Just like the contest for teachers, the prizes were pegged at Php 3,500, Php 2,500 and Php 1,500 worth of SM gift certificates.
Kudos to the activity moderators, Ms. Litz Nuevo and Ms. Carol Ballesteros for making both events possible and a success. We are looking forward to what your ideas will be for the next year.
