Our very own Martin Anthony M. Salud (DLSZ 2012) was one of the five chosen Youth for Understanding (YFU) exchange scholars in the Philippine to go to Japan under the sponsorship of the Japanese Ministry of Education and Culture (MONKASHO) and YFU/JAPAN.
Martin, together with the YFU exchange students from Ateneo, Woodrose School, St. Pedro Poveda and The Beacon Academy, left for Tokyo last January 26, 2011 to begin their participation in short-term Japanese Language Program, school attendance, and home stay with Japanese host families.
Youth For Understanding (YFU) is a private, non-profit educational organization dedicated to promoting international understanding and world peace through exchange programs for high school students.
