As a culmination of Contemporary Philippine Arts from the Regions (CPAR) class, the Grade 12K HUMSS class launched their new literary folio entitled “Kinaiya”, last September 23, 2020. The project is spearheaded by Monique Cruz, editor-in-chief, under the advisory and mentorship of Mr. Marlon Fernandez, CPAR subject teacher.
“Kinaiya” is a Cebuano word which means “inner character and being”. This collection includes various literary works, carefully curated and produced by the members of the class serves as the class’ platform for self-expression and a catalyst for social change. Literary genres such as Poetry, prose, and short stories shall be part of the upcoming online publication.
More than a school project, this publication is a fundraiser to support the One La Salle Scholarship Fund— an initiative of De La Salle Philippines that aims to assist scholars in different La Salle schools in the country. In this light, access to publication costs for as low as Php 50.00 only!
