Congratulations to Martin Johan M. Ocho (DLSZ 2023) for bagging the bronze medal in the World Mathematics Invitational (WMI) Finals held in Guilin Jinyong, Province of Guangxi, China last August 8-12, 2015.
Martin was part of the Philippine delegation that competed tough competitions from China, Taiwan, Macau, Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, Hong Kong, Iran and Nigeria.
Out of 52 Filipino delegates 20 of them received medals, four golds and 16 bronzes, while the rest were given Certificates of Merit for qualifying and participating in the contest.
Martin was conscientiously trained by his GEM teachers and Math Trainers’ Guild coaches to prepare him for his first international math competition.
