Alejandra Kamiya de Guzman (DLSZ 2019) is Asia’s recipient of the 2015 Leadership Conference Scholarship, which was given by Best Buddies International.
Among the many applications from around the world, one overall winner was selected from each of the three regions: Asia/Oceana, Europe/MENA, and Latin America.
In addition to winning the scholarship, De Guzman will be attending Best Buddies International’s 26th Annual Leadership Conference in July.
Best Buddies is a “non-profit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)”.
