De La Salle Santiago Zobel thru the Social Action Office (SAO) will hold a three-day outdoor camp with the theme, “Engaged: Pinoy Youth in Action” on June 20-22, 2014 in Calatagan, Batangas
The camp aims to provide a venue for 100 high school student leaders from De La Salle Zobel Day and Night High Schools, and its partners from Muntinlupa National High Schools, Calatagan National High Schools, Gawad Kalinga community, Streetchildren centers and Typhoon Yolanda survivors housed in Rosario, Cavite to be in solidarity with one another.
Activities are geared towards the promotion of spirit of volunteerism and service to society and advancement of the Philippine Lasallian Family’s advocacy particularly on youth engagement, environment, and pride of being Filipino.
At the end of the camp, the participants are expected to come up with their own concrete responses towards the various aforementioned advocacy that will be implemented in their respective schools within the academic year.
