Angela Francine A. Malantic (DLSZ 2013) was adjudged Sixth Best Speaker in Fast Forward 2012, the advance debate boot camp hosted by the University of the Philippine Debate Society (UPDS), held last May 18-20, 2012 at the University of the Philippines Diliman in Quezon City.
The boot camp included a debate tournament in British Parliamentary format with three elimination rounds and a break to the semi-finals.
Other participants from DLSZ include Carlos Benedict Echevarria (DLSZ 2015) and Maria Nicole D. Cacanando (DLSZ 2015). Â All are members of the Zobel Parliament, the school’s debate society, with Mr. Leandro D. Macasaet and Mr. Jorge S. Baclor, Jr. as moderators.
