Congratulations to Jose Agustin Crisostomo (DLSZ 2013) for having won a consolation prize at the PreMYo Rizal, a nationwide letter writing and essay writing contest for Elementary (Grades V and VI), Secondary (Third and Fourth Year) and College Level Students. De La Salle Santiago Zobel (DLSZ) submitted other entries but Jose Agustin’s essay was solely given a consolation prize. Participants in the high school level were tasked to express their ideas or feelings towards a character in either Jose Rizal’s novels, Noli Me Tangere or El Filibusterismo, in the context of today’s Philippine society and political reality. To commemorate the 150th birthday anniversary of our national hero, Jose Rizal, My Rizal held an essay-writing contest called PreMYo Rizal.
