The DLSZ Karatedo team placed 2nd runner up after hauling 3 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals during the La Salle Green Hills (LSGH) Interschool Karatedo Tournament where 28 schools participated last February 26, 2011 at the LSGH Gymnasium.  Alvin Francisco (DLSZ 2011) won both gold in the 53kg sparring and form competition while fellow karateka Alisa Cifra (DLSZ 2012) got a gold and a silver in the sparring and form competition, respectively.
