{"id":8584,"date":"2015-01-22T08:18:26","date_gmt":"2015-01-22T00:18:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dlszobel.edu.ph\/?p=8584"},"modified":"2015-01-22T08:18:26","modified_gmt":"2015-01-22T00:18:26","slug":"peace-of-art-contest-wins-most-creative-event-in-international-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dlszobel.edu.ph\/index.php\/2015\/01\/22\/peace-of-art-contest-wins-most-creative-event-in-international-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"&#039;Peace of Art Contest&#039; Wins Most Creative Event in International Competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"color: #222222;\">\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">De La Salle Santiago Zobel&#8217;s <strong>PEACE OF ART Contest*<\/strong> won the <strong>Most Creative Event<\/strong> in the <strong>Peace Day Competition 2014<\/strong>, an international\u00a0competition open to all Face-To-Faith Schools, founded by actor, filmmaker, Jeremy Gillick.<\/span><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">According to Mr. Jo Malone, Face to Faith Manager, what\u00a0Jeremy loved about the Peace of Art Contest is the multi-stranded approach to this simple idea and how messages\u00a0<span class=\"il\">of<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"il\">peace<\/span>\u00a0were spread through the creation\u00a0<span class=\"il\">of<\/span>\u00a0the artwork and also the exhibition and then the postcards. <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\">To view the participants&#8217; work during the Peace of Art Contest, click on the link below:\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<a style=\"color: #1155cc;\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/file\/d\/0B28yan2d_nZCNWZ3d0sxSm5RdXM\/edit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/docs.google.com\/file\/<wbr \/>d\/0B28yan2d_<wbr \/>nZCNWZ3d0sxSm5RdXM\/edit<\/a><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Over a hundred Face-To-Faith Schools around the world joined the said competition.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"color: #444444;\"><em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">*DLSZ\u00a0hosted an art contest last\u00a0<strong><span data-term=\"goog_1632070239\">September 26, 2014<\/span>\u00a0with the theme, A \u201cPEACE\u201d of Art<\/strong>.\u00a0 The art contest is a collaboration of our Cultural Affairs Office and Art Department.\u00a0 The objective of the contest is to give young art lovers a venue to express and share their talents, for the youth to recognize the importance of peace in their community, and to promote and encourage the youth to live in the spirit of unity despite life\u2019s challenges.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This contest is invitational to all MUNTIPARLAS upper grade school and high school students.
