The De La Salle community congratulates all the winners in the first MUNTIPARLAS art contest for peace last September 26, 2014 at the Sport Pavilion.
\nFor the open grade school category, Joffer Mart Mariategue of St. Francis of Assisi College<\/strong> won 1st place, Jaimee Lee of Singapore School Manila<\/strong>, won 2nd place and Jayvee Blanza of Bayanan Elementary School<\/strong> won 3rd<\/sup> place.
\nHonorable Mention awards were given to Justine Polanco (Tunasan Elementary School)<\/strong>, Jan Madeline Bautista (Bayanan Elementary School)<\/strong>.
\nFor the open high school category, Demetrio Cangas of Paranaque National High School Sto. Nino,<\/strong> won 1st place, Kathleen Abad of Manresa School<\/strong>, won 2nd place and Tamiya Anne Dela Fuente of Paref Woodrose School <\/strong>\u00a0won 3rd place.
\nHonorable Mention awards were given to Robyn Anne Victa (Paref Woodrose School), Roxanne Arizala (Paranaque National High School Baclaran).<\/strong>
\nFor the DLSZ category, the winners are Joan Furagganan<\/strong> for grade school and Erika Corinne Sison<\/strong> for the high school.
\nThe contest aims to provide the youth a venue to express and share their talents, to recognize the importance of peace in their community, and to promote and encourage each one to live in the spirit of unity despite life\u2019s challenges.
\nThe contest was participated by 23 private and public schools in Muntinlupa, Paranaque and Las Pinas. \u00a0Over 100 peace themed artworks from the contest will be exhibited at St. La Salle Innovation Lobby.\u00a0 Exhibition details to be announced at a later date.
