<\/span>De La Salle Santiago Zobel School, through the Social Action Office, launched the annual Christmas Toy Drive Campaign in partnership with Jollibee\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Maaga ang Pasko Toy Drive<\/i> last December 2, 2013. For several years, DLSZ has organized the annual tradition of spreading smiles and cheers for the children, most especially to the abandoned, neglected, abused and displaced.
\nLast year, the toys and books collected were given to the following organizations:
\nDar Amanah Children\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Village Foundation, Haven for Children, Angels of Hope, Elsie Gaches Village, and Marillac Hills
\nFor this year, the toys will benefit the children affected by Typhoon Yolanda that has left them homeless, orphaned, and heartbroken. The toys and educational\/coloring books that we will be collected can drastically help the children in Visayas. This campaign is our continuing response for the relief and rehabilitation recovery effort for the victims of the recent calamity.
\nWhen we give toys or books to the project it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s like extending our hand\u00c2\u00a0 in love and friendship to the children of the Typhoon Yolanda victims. Let\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s pray that joy will radiate again in the hearts of children who have been saddened by the recent calamity. We, who are blessed in so many ways, need to spread, by word and deed, the Christmas message of love, hope, joy and peace.<\/p>\n

  1. The drive will run from December 2 to December 9, 2012.\u00c2\u00a0 The Grade School and High School SRCC and Tugon Zobelunteers will promote the drive in the classrooms.\u00c2\u00a0 The class officers and volunteer students will bring the gifts to the Social Action Office for repacking.<\/li>\n
  2. There will be three containers for toy donations.\u00c2\u00a0 One will be stationed at the lower grades and Prep Area and the other will be at St. La Salle Building where students from other levels may directly deposit their toy gifts.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
