2nd row: Sir Jeffrey Orante, Marcus Melo, Mark Nathan Rondael, and Ben Matthew Calisin\n<\/figcaption>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/figure>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-692a382 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"692a382\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DLSZ proudly recognizes its student-delegates for representing the school at the Academy of Entrepreneurs (AE) Study Tour held from <\/span><b>April 26 to May 3, 2026, in Sydney, Australia<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The program brought together young innovators and aspiring entrepreneurs from around the world, providing them with opportunities to develop their entrepreneurial mindset, leadership skills, and global perspectives.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The\u00a0 student-delegates who participated in the study tour were:<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ben Matthew Calisin (DLSZ 2027)<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selene Carcido (DLSZ 2029)<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Julienne Madera (DLSZ 2029)<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Marcus Melo (DLSZ 2028)<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bettina Peca\u00f1a (DLSZ 2027)<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alex Zoe Pulumbarit (DLSZ 2028)<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mark Nathan Vidamor Rondael (DLSZ 2027)<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Maxinne Sarte (DLSZ 2028)<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Leanne Ericka Tiu (DLSZ 2027)<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Throughout the week-long program, participants engaged in hands-on workshops on business plan writing for social impact, developing game-changing ideas and sustainable revenue models, and exploring global leadership and diplomacy. They also took part in industry visits to leading institutions and organizations in Sydney, gaining valuable insights into innovation, entrepreneurship, and international collaboration. For students like Selene Carcido, Mark Nathan Rondael, and Maxinne Sarte, the experience taught them to view AI not as a shortcut, but as a powerful business tool that delivers clear results when used correctly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They were given the opportunity to pitch their business ideas to professionals and get their feedback. Mark\u00a0 shares, \u201csometimes we need to fail to be able to learn how to succeed, and that is why failure is a beautiful thing, everyone sees it as something negative, but they fail to see how one can benefit from it.\u201d<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For Maxine, this experience gave her a clearer direction for her future career, \u201cone that uses every modern tool available, including AI, but never loses sight of the reason.\u201d Additionally, Selene saw this as an opportunity to step outside her comfort zone and see the world differently. It widened her knowledge of the world, taught her how to be independent, and laid a foundation for her present and future aspirations.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The study tour provided students with an enriching learning experience that fostered creativity, teamwork, critical thinking, and cross-cultural engagement, preparing them to become future-ready leaders and changemakers.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Their participation in this memorable international learning opportunity reflects the values of excellence, innovation, and service that DLSZ proudly upholds on the global stage.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In DLSZ, the world can be your classroom!
