DLSZ Triumphs at MTAP Math Challenge 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Goal for Excellence in Math (GEM) Mathletes prevailed as Champions in the prestigious Metrobank- Mathematics Teachers Association of the Philippines (MTAP) Math Challenge 2025 on April 12, 2025, held at the Chiang Kai Shek College, Manila City. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Competing against 189 junior high school students from 24 private and public schools across NCR, the following students took part in this prestigious event: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Yun Ho Kim (DLSZ 2027)<\/li>
  • Matthew Angelo Roallos (DLSZ 2027)<\/li>
  • Santino Alexander Austria (DLSZ 2027)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The competition remained close until the very end. The team was trailing coming into the difficult round behind two other teams, including the host team Chiang Kai Shek College. However, by remaining calm and focused and by exemplifying teamwork, grit, and determination, the team was able to catch up and pull ahead, securing first place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Alongside their victory in the team round, a number of GEM Mathletes also bagged awards in the Individual Category:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Their accomplishment showcases individual excellence as well as joint teamwork, proving the students\u2019 consistent commitment to academic excellence. The victory is also a testament to the exceptional guidance and support given by their GEM coaches, Sir Gerard Crisologo, Ms. Julienne Fresnido, and Sir Albert Morris Pagilagan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      DLSZ GEM Students Garner Top Results in PAMES Casio Math Challenge 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      DLSZ proudly honors the achievement of our Goals for Excellence in Mathematics (GEM) students at the Pames Casio Math Challenge 2025 held on March 15, 2025, at Mataas na Paaralang Neptali A. Gonzales, Mandaluyong City. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The following students were successfully placed in the competition, outperforming over 400 students at each level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The admirable achievements of DLSZ GEM Mathletes in the PCMC 2025 highlight not only their mathematical prowess but also the growth and potential of young Lasallian leaders. Among the standout performers, Taeho Lee emerged at the top, securing first place in the Grade 10 level. These young intellectuals demonstrated exceptional skill, determination, and an inspiring competitive spirit throughout the challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
