On March 8, 2025, the De La Salle Zobel High School (HS) Girls Volleyball Team capped off an undefeated campaign by winning the PAYA Volleyball League Championship at Xavier School, San Juan City. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Junior Lady Spikers swept the entire elimination round, cementing their championship title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EVEREST INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY ONE DAY LEAGUE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On March 7, 2025, they were crowned champions of the Everest International Academy One Day League, held at Everest Academy Manila, Taguig City,  after defeating the Ateneo Junior Lady Eagles in a straight sets finals win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They delivered a dominant performance throughout the tournament, showcasing excellent teamwork and consistency on both ends of the court. Justise Macasaet was named Most Valuable Player and Best Server for her standout play, while Angel Cenizal earned Best Libero honors for her steady defense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On February 22, 2025, the team claimed the Dr. Galicia Cup Championship after a thrilling five-set victory over Sto. Ni\u00f1o de Praga Academy at De La Salle University Dasmari\u00f1as, Cavite. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Justise Macasaet was named Most Valuable Player, showcasing her all-around impact on the court. Kylie Celada earned Best Opposite for her consistent offense, while Sabine Valdez took home Best Setter honors for her playmaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WNCAA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lastly, they secured their 7th consecutive WNCAA championship on December 7, 2024, defeating Chiang Kai Shek College, Tondo, Manila in a thrilling best-of-three finals. After dropping Game 1, the team responded with back-to-back straight-sets victories in Games 2 and 3 to clinch the title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the seniors gone, the team had to step up as a brand-new team while also carrying the pressure of defending a six-peat championship. It was a journey of learning, adjusting, and figuring out how to come together as a younger team.  \u201cThe season went well overall, but the finals tested us. We lost the first game in four (4) sets, which was tough, but we did not let it bring us down. Instead, we fought back, won the next two (2) games, and proved just how much we had grown as a team\u201d<\/em> shares Sabine Valdez. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the biggest highlights was having four (4) of the players make it to the Mythical Six. Yayen Alema\u00f1a was named 1st Best Outside Hitter, Chloe Belen won Best Setter, Maia Valdez earned 2nd Best Middle Blocker, and Angel Cenizal took home the MVP award. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The journey to the WNCAA was filled with hard work, perseverance, and determination to defend our championship title. Every player contributed to the team\u2019s success, most especially Angel Cenizal (DLSZ 2026)\u2019s exceptional digs and saves. The championship win was not just about securing the title, it was a testament to the countless hours of training, the sacrifices made, and the bond among teammates. It was an incredible season, and we are proud of everything we accomplished together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
