We are incredibly proud to announce the outstanding achievements of our De La Salle Santiago Zobel (DLSZ) students in the NEO Science Olympiad, where they competed online against students from various countries in an international competition. The competition was held last January 18, 2025 for the AI Prompt Challenge and January 19, 2025 for the Coding Category.

Jacob Bernas (DLSZ 2026)*<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delivered an outstanding performance in the Grade 11 Coding Category, earning Gold (2nd place) among numerous participants from participating schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jun Jangao Kaga (DLSZ 2027) <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Showcased remarkable coding skills and analytical thinking, achieving Gold (Top 9 finish) in the Grade 10 Coding Category out of 132 students worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Matteo Bringardner (DLSZ 2028)* and Adriel Keane Riguera (DLSZ 2028) <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Grade 9 Coding Category, both students secured Gold medals- Matteo (2nd place) and Adriel (6th place), out of 144 students globally. Their performance highlighted strong coding proficiency and problem-solving aptitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sarah Sophia Cabodil (DLSZ 2029)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Excelled in the Natural Science Category of the NEO Science Olympiad, securing Gold (10th place) in a highly competitive field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Alexandre Matthew Adrales (DLSZ 2030)<\/strong>
<\/strong>Dominated the AI Prompt Challenge, securing Gold (1st place) in the Grades 6\u20138 level for his exceptional AI-driven prompt design. He also earned a Silver medal (11th place) in both the Coding (CodeCombat) and Natural Science Categories, and received a certificate of participation in Math.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They were tasked with crafting detailed prompts based on pre-prepared images, focusing on accurately describing attributes like depth, size, symmetry, color, objects, and overall composition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moving forward, these brilliant students are set for an even bigger challenge\u2014they are advancing to the Grand Finals in New York City, which will take place from June 10 to 16, 2025!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
