Competing in the \u201cLife Below Water\u201d and \u201cQuality Education\u201d categories, they showcased their innovative solutions aimed at addressing critical global issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the <strong>Life Below Water category,<\/strong> <strong>Team Seaguard (Grade School group)<\/strong> earned <strong>2nd place<\/strong> and received an <strong>Honorable Mention<\/strong> for their innovative project that integrated science and advanced tools. Their approach included developing a two-way robotic system with a control ship equipped with a B-O-D sensor to monitor oxygen levels in the sea, and a diver robot with motors to plant oxygen-generating flora on the seafloor. They also integrated Teachable Machine to identify thriving areas and dead zones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Team Seaguard:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Raphael Ramiel Dollente (DLSZ 2033) \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/li><li>Brent Izekiel Escalona (DLSZ 2033) \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/li><li>Jose Hugo Tan\u00a0 (DLSZ 2032) \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/li><li>Julia Helga Tan (DLSZ 2035)\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, <strong>Team SPARK (Senior High School group)<\/strong> secured <strong>2nd place<\/strong> in the <strong>Quality Education category<\/strong> with their innovative learning center. They integrated Chrome OS Flex to address significant gaps in technology and resources, aiming to enhance student engagement and success in STEM subjects. Their initiative, <strong>SPARK<\/strong>, serves as an online learning center dedicated to STEM students that provides a comprehensive, engaging, and personalized learning experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Team SPARK:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Miguel Bradley Aquino (DLSZ 2025)<\/li><li>Christian Andrei Cleofe (DLSZ 2025)<\/li><li>Javier Alejandro Cuyno (DLSZ 2025)<\/li><li>Joshua Elijah Luzon (DLSZ 2025)<\/li><li>Rafael Antonio Pulido (DLSZ 2025)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Bett Asia School Challenge 2024<\/strong> is the second edition of this event, following its inaugural run in 2023. This challenge brings together students from across Southeast Asia to develop and present projects that align with the <strong>United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mentorship provided by Mr. Neil Capanzana, Mr. Norlito Bautista, Mr. Cris Moreno, and Mr. Jholan Torres, along with the support of the Science and STEM Unit led by Dr. Genevieve Pillar in the Applied Sciences department, has contributed to their outstanding accomplishments at the Bett Asia School Challenge 2024. Their dedication, creativity, and commitment to making a positive impact on the world are truly commendable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Their success not only brings pride to the school but also serves as an inspiration to other students to think big and innovate for a better future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Congratulations!
