Congratulations to Oliver Kurt Alingarog (DLSZ 2032) for securing the 1st runner-up in the IronKids International Triathlon event held last June 8, 2024, in Subic Bay, Zambales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kurt, who is part of the DLSZ Triathletes, displayed an impressive determination throughout the race. Despite emerging from the water in 6th place, his relentless spirit and exceptional running prowess allowed him to outpace his competitors in the latter stages of the race. Demonstrating incredible resilience and strategic acumen, Kurt closed the gap with the race leaders and ultimately secured an impressive 1st runner-up overall in his age category. Additionally, congratulations to Jaime Santino Cuyno (DLSZ 2027) for an impressive debut race under DLSZ, showcasing strong potential and determination in the sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moving forward, the DLSZ Triathlon Team is preparing for an exciting and challenging season ahead. Our athletes are training hard to compete in the National Age Group Aquathlon (NAGA) on September 29, 2024, where they will showcase their versatility in swimming and running. Following this, they will tackle the National Age Group Triathlon (NAGT) starting in January 2025, a multi-discipline event that tests their endurance and strategic abilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The highlight of their journey will be the Subic Bay International Triathlon (SuBIT) in May 2025, where our triathletes will compete on an international stage against top talent from around the world. This season promises to be a testament to their hard work, determination, and Lasallian spirit.
