\"\"<\/a>The entire Grade School Department<\/strong> will be holding a week-long academic intramurals entitled \u00e2\u20ac\u0153WiZup: The League of the Geniuses\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/strong> on September 10 – 14, 2012<\/strong>.
\nThrough WiZup, we hope to achieve the following objectives:
\n(1) Celebrate the academic achievements of our students across the different subject areas;
\n(2) Promote a venue for intellectual and social interaction among all the students across grade levels;
\n(3) Strengthen the camaraderie and cooperation among learners and teachers; and
\n(4) Serve as training ground for local and international contests or presentations.
\nNumerous activities have been lined up for the students to take part in. These include quiz and spelling bees, AghaMathik, speech, penmanship, essay writing, digital poster making, digital story making, music, dance and cooking contests, storytelling, song presentations, and a whole lot more. Friendly competitions will start in grade one.
\nFor the WiZup, the same section for all levels will be considered as one team (e.g. all Sections A). As such, the scores garnered by the students from the same team will be tallied everyday. At the end of the week, the team or section with the highest score will be declared WiZup 2012 Champion.
