[UPDATED] There will be a few changes in our school’s policy, specifically on Google Shared Drives and online storage quotas for DLSZ Google Accounts.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2021, Google announced they will discontinue their unlimited storage service for educational institutions, limiting DLSZ\u2019s <\/strong>entire<\/strong><\/em> storage to only 177 terabytes, covering data in Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Photos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of October 2022, DLSZ is already at 167.7 TB, even after most of the day school alumni accounts were deleted.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To keep DLSZ\u2019s Google storage use below the set quota, by February 10, 2023, ISTS will:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Delete ALL previously created, unofficial Shared Drives<\/li>
  2. Apply storage quotas to all DLSZ Google Accounts<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    As such, all students and Lasallian Partners must take steps to clean up their data and back up important files accordingly on or before February 10, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
