On Monday, October 3, 2022, our Grade 12J and 12K HUMSS students will hold their first online book launching and program exhibition entitled “Kinaiya III: Silakbo ng Lahing Pilipino” <\/strong>as a culminating project in Contemporary Philippines Arts class in collaboration with the Philippine Politics and Good Governance subject.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The KINAIYA III showcases the art collection and talented works of Senior High School HUMSS students from 12K and 12J through literary works and an exhibit. This virtual book and exhibition will showcase original pieces such as poems, literature, illustrations, stories, music compositions, and more! Each entry expresses governance and citizenship through art’s intricacies, emotions, and creativity to create awareness and positive change for the future. The tagline, “Silakbo ng Lahing Pilipino,” indicates the outburst of emotions and thoughts that Filipinos currently have. The students attempt to capture these Philippine themes using their talents, creativity, and emotions. This exhibit will showcase the youth’s criticisms and commentary of modern-day Philippine society in imaginative and innovative forms. For DLSZ students in the HUMSS strand, this is an avenue to express their creativity and brings to life the Lasallian Core Value of “Cherishes Being a Filipino” through regional art from exhibit sponsors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

KINAIYA: SILAKBO NG LAHING PILIPINO is an exhibit sponsored by Aves et Apes and Sweets by Elinor. Viewers and visitors will have the chance to view and buy specific pieces and works of art at the exhibit booths on October 3, 2022, at both De La Salle Zobel Alabang and Vermosa Campus, respectively. Doors will open at 10:35 am and close at 12:20 pm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
