{"id":15746,"date":"2019-03-22T16:24:35","date_gmt":"2019-03-22T08:24:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dlszobel.edu.ph\/?p=15746"},"modified":"2019-03-22T16:24:35","modified_gmt":"2019-03-22T08:24:35","slug":"kimwell-dlsz-2027-and-milan-dlsz-2027-garner-awards-in-challenge-for-future-mathematicians-cfm-in-indonesia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dlszobel.edu.ph\/index.php\/2019\/03\/22\/kimwell-dlsz-2027-and-milan-dlsz-2027-garner-awards-in-challenge-for-future-mathematicians-cfm-in-indonesia\/","title":{"rendered":"Kimwell (DLSZ 2027) and Milan (DLSZ 2027) garner awards in Challenge for Future Mathematicians (CFM), Indonesia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DLSZ congratulates Aldrich John Kimwell (DLSZ 2027) and Joshua Milan (DLSZ 2027) for bagging awards in the 5<sup>th<\/sup> Challenge for Future Mathematicians (CFM) held in Bogor, Indonesia last October 27 to 30, 2018.<br \/>\nAldrich and Joshua both received Silver awards during the Individual contest and placed First Runner-up in the team contest under the Middle Primary Division category of the said competition.<br \/>\nThese two mathletes are part of the Philippine contingent selected and trained by the Mathematical Development Academy of the Philippines (MathDAP).<br \/>\nChallenge for Future Mathematicians is an international contest for primary to secondary students which started since 2014.\u00a0It is an annual competition held in different hosting Asian countries with the aim of exchanging information, initiatives and latest applications related to mathematics across the world.\u00a0Among the participating countries are Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.<br \/>\nWe are proud of you, Aldrich and Joshua!
