He garnered\u00a0an average speaking score of 76.40.\u00a0Camille Marie Castro (DLSZ 2022) finished the tournament as the 11th Best Speaker with an average speaking score of 76.20.<br \/>\nDLSZ Team B made up of\u00a0\u00a0Aguilar,\u00a0Castro, and Therese Lachaona (DLSZ 2022)\u00a0successfully made it to the Quarterfinals round.\u00a0Debating teams had to battle through five rounds of both impromptu and prepared rounds. DLSZ Team A was composed of\u00a0Quintin Armando Chua (DLSZ 2019), Gabrielle Sofia Ma. Dimatatac (DLSZ 2019), Raymond Elijah Tiuseco (DLSZ 2020).<br \/>\nThe DLSZ delegates were accompanied by Ms. Ju Turqueza, Zobel Parliament Club Moderator, and Mr. Gio Cortes, Debate Coach.<br \/>\nMWSDC hosted by Taylor&#8217;s University in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia was held\u00a0last July 15-17, 2017.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dlszobel.edu.ph\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/MWSDC-2017.png\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-13567 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/www.dlszobel.edu.ph\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/MWSDC-2017-300x278.png\" alt=\"MWSDC 2017\" width=\"300\" height=\"278\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Written by Mr.\u00a0Robert Ryan Valle, High School English Teacher Malaysia World Schools Debating Championship (MWSDC)\u00a0awarded two De La Salle Santiago Zobel students as Best Speakers.
