The Learning Resource Center (LRC), in partnership with the Art Unit, recently concluded the successful Parol Making Contest last December 07, 2015.
\nThis\u00a0activity is in line with the celebration of the National Book Week and the Christmas Season.
\nThere were 11 entries represented by a group of Juniors\/Seniors which is composed of 5 members each. Each participating group work on a three dimensional Parol, allowing them to uncover and utilize socio-historical references, folk crafts and recycling techniques. The challenge is to give new meaning to the art of illumination and save environment conservation via the Filipino Christmas Lantern Tradition.
