CENTENNIAL STAR SCHOLARSHIP

The Centennial Star Scholarship was launched in celebration of the centenary of Lasallian presence in the Philippines. Starting 2011, DLSZ has granted educational assistance to two (2) public school graduates to avail of a Lasallian education under this scholarship.

The Centennial Star Scholarship is open to elementary students from any recognized Muntinlupa public school graduating with the highest honors or belongs to the top five (5) of their batch. From the roster of applicants, the top two (2) students in the admissions exam of DLSZ will be chosen.

The successful applicants are granted full tuition discounts; development fee is waived with other fees such as miscellaneous, specific, school uniform and books sponsored by benefactors.

To apply for this scholarship, the following are the requirements:

1. A letter from the Principal certifying the rank obtained
2. A letter of recommendation from either the class adviser or guidance counselor
3. Separate interviews for the grantees and their parents/guardians
4. An above average score of at least stanine 7 or higher in the DLSZ entrance test

To maintain the scholarship, the scholar is expected to achieve the following in his/her first year in DLSZ (Grade 7):

1. No grade lower than 88% in each subject in any term and a GPA of 92%
2. A conduct grade of at least B+ in every term

For the scholar’s succeeding years in DLSZ (Grades 8-12), he/she must obtain the following:

1. No grade lower than 90% in each subject in any term and a GPA of 94%

2. A conduct grade of at least B+ in every term
