Br. V. Felix Masson FSC Student Financial Assistance

The Br. V. Felix Masson FSC Student Financial Assistance is open to incoming grade 5 to grade 12 students who are currently enrolled in DLSZ and who, by virtue of their family’s current economic status and financial standing, may require assistance.  The grant may be availed for a maximum of two academic years subject to a review of the family’s conditions that warrant financial support and the satisfactory academic and conduct performance of the grantee. 

Eligibility

For the student to be qualified for this scholarship, he/she must meet the following criteria:

  1. must have at least one-year of residency in De La Salle Santiago Zobel School
  2. family has an annual income of not more than P700,000.00 altogether

NOTE:  higher priority will be given to the applicant whose family income has significantly reduced due to retrenchment, company bankruptcy, death of the head of the family, etc. which can be supported by pertinent documents

3. obtain the following grade requirements:

3.a.  General Weighted Average of 85% or above with no final grade lower than 83% in any subject

3.b.  No grade lower than 80% in any subject in any term

3.c.  Conduct/Homeroom/Club Activity grade of at least B (80-84) in every term

Application Procedure:

Reminder: The SFAPs Committee will only process scholarship applications made online.

  1. Log-in to DLSZ Family Portal to access the online application form.
  2. Fill out the online application form and click “Submit”. You must receive an email containing confirmation of submission and further instructions to pursue the application. If you do not receive the confirmation email, kindly email scholarship@dlszobel.edu.ph.
  1. Upload the following required documents:
    • Letter of Intent from the Parents/Guardians of the applicant expressing interest and reasons for the application
    • Copy of the student’s current report card
    • one 2×2 photo (for new applicants only)
    • Parents’/Guardian’s latest Certificate of income (ITR) issued by their employer/s and/or payslip for the past 3 months;  for self-employed, a certificate of Registration of Business Enterprise issued by the relevant local or national government agency, bank statement (within the last 3-6 months); or for OFW, remittance receipt for the last 3 months
    • Electric Bills for the last 3 months
    • For new applicants, a sketch going to the applicant’s house from DLSZ campus

NOTE: Home visitation will be conducted by the school counselors to validate the conditions that warrant financial support.
