Br. Ceci Hojilla FSC Athletic Scholarship

The Br. Ceci Hojilla FSC Athletic Scholarship is open to incoming Grade 8 – Grade 12 students who are members of any DLSZ varsity teams and exhibit exceptional skills in any sport.

Eligibility

For the student to be qualified for this scholarship, he/she must meet the following criteria:

  1. must have at least one-year residency in De La Salle Santiago Zobel School
  2. a member of any DLSZ varsity team
  3. have shown outstanding performance in his/her respective sports during the previous school years which can be supported by certificates, medals, trophies, or other proof of achievements
  4. Grade Requirements:

4.1. JHS – have a General Weighted Average of 80% with no final grade lower than 75% in any subject;

4.2. SHS – have a General Weighted Average of 80% with no final grade lower than 75% in any subject in any term

4.3. have a Conduct/Homeroom/Club Activity grade of at least B (80-84) in every term

  1. have a Very Satisfactory rating in the evaluation given by the coach and a recommendation by the Sports Development Office Head.

Application Procedure:

Reminder: The SFAPs Committee will only process scholarship applications made online.                             

1. Log-in to DLSZ Family Portal to access the online application form.

2. Fill out the online application form and click “Submit”. You must receive an email containing confirmation of submission and further instructions to pursue the application. If you do not receive the confirmation email, kindly email scholarship@dlszobel.edu.ph.

3. Upload the following required documents:

  • Letter of Intent from the Parents/Guardians of the applicant expressing interest and reasons for the application
  • Copy of student’s current report card
  • Applicant’s list of previous achievements with proofs such as photos of medals, trophies, certificates, etc. 
  • Varsity coach’s evaluation and recommendation by the Sports Development Office Head (this is to be processed directly by the coaches concerned and the Scholarship Office)
  • one 2×2 photo (for new applicants only)

NOTE: 

  • To be given a grade in attendance, a member should not incur more than 5% of the total number of practices and competitions.
  • If the grantee exceeds the maximum allowable absence for practices and competitions during the academic year and/or obtains Conduct/Homeroom/ Club Activity lower than B, he/she will not be eligible for this scholarship next academic year
  • If the grantee withdraws enrollment at any point during the school year, he/she must pay the remaining balance of the grant for the rest of the academic year.
