DLSZ, Inc. Technical Vocational School

The DLSZ, Inc. Technical Vocational program was conceived in order to respond to the needs of high school graduates who would like to take skills-based, short-term courses before enrolling in college. It also accommodates the increasing number of out-of-school youth and working students who would like to take livelihood or special courses either for self-gain or better employment. 

While the primary objective of DLSZ, Inc. is to better equip the trainees for employment through the acquisition and mastery of technical vocational competencies, intensive skills training running for one academic year either thrice a week or daily shall be holistic to effect self-empowerment. Strategic time-outs shall be provided for trainees to undergo formation, avail of homeroom and career guidance, acquire proficiency in English, develop relationship skills, and participate in community service through a well-structured leadership and student activities program.

TESDA-REGISTERED COURSES:

Computer Systems Servicing NC II 

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills, and attitude of a trainee on core competencies such as install and configure computers systems, set-up computer networks, and servers and maintaining and repair computer systems and networks.* 

Cookery NC II

This training course provides trainees like us with knowledge and skills in preparing and serving hot and cold dishes/food to commercial establishments such as hotels and restaurants. It includes learning how to observe proper work hygiene and procedures; prepare, cluster, and serve food for menus; know the various cuisines across the globe; learn food presentations, and store kitchen supplies.*

*Description of each qualification is taken from the Training Regulations prescribed by TESDA.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Age should be at least 18 years old and not more than 55 years old
  • Must be a high school graduate preferably from the public schools
  • a resident from Muntinlupa, Las Pinas, Paranaque, Taguig or Pateros

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: (for TESDA Courses)

Trainees or students should possess the following:

COMPUTER SYSTEMS SERVICING NC II

  • Can communicate both oral and written; 
  • Must pass the trainability/aptitude test

COOKERY NCII

  • Can communicate both in oral and written;
  • Physically and mentally fit;
  • With good moral character; 
  • Can perform basic mathematical computation

REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSIONS TEST:

  • Clear scanned copy of Birth Certificate issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA); 
  • Clear scanned copy of SF 9 or Report Card (formerly known as Form 138) SF 10 or Transcript of Records (formerly known as Form 137)
  • Clear scanned copy of High School Diploma
  • Certificate of Training (if an applicant has completed a program in TESDA)
  • Two (2) recent 1×1 photo with complete name to be printed at the back of each picture
  • Barangay Clearance (named after the applicant)
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character ( issued by the School Counselor/Principal)
  • Letter of Consent from Parents/Guardians/Employers (if the applicant is a working student)
  • Clear scanned copy of Marriage Contract (if the applicant is married)                                    

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

1. Fill out the online application form completely and upload the necessary requirements through the DLSZ Technical Vocational School Online Application Form AY 2022-2023 (Please click the file to generate the form.) Upon completion, click “Submit”.

2. Pay the application fee of Php150.00 through the different online payment facilities as indicated below:              

a) All payments to the school may be made online using BILLS PAYMENT FACILITY via internet banking by using your bank’s mobile app or website to transfer funds to the school’s Union Bank account with the following details:

           Account Name: De La Salle Santiago Zobel School, Inc.

          Account Number: CA 018-03-000-6691

         Remarks: Applicant’s Name / Application Fee / TECHVOC.                         

b) DLSZ online payment facility (https://pay.dlszobel.edu.ph) using your credit card or online banking accounts using the BILLS PAYMENT FACILITY with the following details:

c) Over the counter payments can be made at any Union Bank branch using the Bills Payment Slip with the following details below:

3. Send a copy of the application fee proof of payment via email to enroll@dlszobel.edu.ph and nhsenrollment@dlszobel.edu.ph. An official receipt shall be issued after confirmation of payment. The official receipt may be claimed from the school’s Accounting Office on schedule or a PDF copy may be requested thru studentaccounts@dlszobel.edu.ph

4. Wait for the test permit to be emailed and be available on the given testing schedule.

5. Wait for the Acceptance Letter to be emailed and proceed with the enrollment.

ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE:

  1. Download and fill out the Student Data Privacy Statement (Please click the file to generate the document)
  2. Submit the following requirements:
  • original copy of PSA Birth Certificate
  • original copy of student’s High School Final Report Card 
  • original copy of Barangay Clearance
  1. Fill out the DLSZ Technical Vocational School Online Enrollment Form Academic Year 2022-2023 (Please click the file to generate the form.)
  2. Pay the enrollment fee of  Php 5,500.00 through the different payment facilities. Send a copy of the enrollment fee proof of payment via email to enroll@dlszobel.edu.ph and nhsenrollment@dlszobel.edu.ph. An official receipt shall be issued after confirmation of payment. The official receipt may be claimed from the school’s Accounting Office on schedule or a PDF copy may be requested thru studentaccounts@dlszobel.edu.ph

APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATION AND COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT

Steps in Applying for Assessment and Certification – Regular Qualifications. The assessment shall cover only Qualifications with promulgated Training Regulations:

COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT PROCESS

PRE-COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT

1. Submit the following documentary requirements:

  • Duly accomplished Application Form 
  • Credentials ( PSA Birth Certificate, Certificate of Training, Certificate of Employment, etc.)
  • Properly and completely filled out Self- Assessment Guide of your chosen qualification
  • Three (3) pieces of colored and passport size picture, white background, with collar and with name printed in front.

2. Pay the Assessment at the Accounting office. Ask for an official receipt.

  • Cookery NC II -Php 1300
  • Computer Systems Servicing NCII- Php 610

3. Receive the admission slip.

4. Confirm assessment schedule and venue.

DURING COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT

  1. Arrive at the venue one (1) hour before the confirmed schedule.
  2. Present the admission slip to the Competency Assessor
  3. Sign in the attendance sheet
  4. Undergo competency assessment

POST-COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT

  1. Wait for the feedback from the Competency Assessor
  2. Sign and Receive Competency Assessment Result Summary ( CARS)

  • Go to the nearest DHL office. Fill out DHL form
  • Pay Php 50 for NC printing and Php 75 for delivery

 For Not Yet Competent Candidates

  • Candidate may request for a schedule for re-assessment
