The grade school and high school members of the DLSZ Strings will be participating in the first ASEAN “International Strings Convention” at Bayview Georgetown Hotel in Penang, Malaysia from August 14-17, 2015.
In this convention, students will collaborate and learn directly from well-renowned musicians. The activities of the convention include workshops, students’ performances, concerts by various presenters, and master classes by notable violinists, educators and composers.
The DLSZ delegates for the convention is headed by Ms. Gladena Real, Music Coordinator and music teachers, Mr. Leopoldo Sumera Jr. and Ms. Ruby Natividad.
