DLSZ BALLET welcomes the academic year with an intensive lineup of classes in Classical and Modern Ballet plus the recently popular dance groove, Hiphop for boys and girls.
Last school year, the Advance Ballet students performed at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) as part of Ballet Philippines’ production, HOMECOMING GALA. As part of the dance festival activity, the group also attended the 4-day dance intensive under different foreign and local dance teachers last September 24 – 28, 2014. It was an exciting, fun, and memorable experience for our students, taking classes and sharing the stage with 18 other dance schools and companies.
For the annual grand recital, DLSZ Ballet students culminated with the production, DON QUIXOTE on April 11, 2015 at our very own Sylvia L. Theater. As a tradition, professional dance artists from Ballet Philippines were invited to perform with our students. This much-anticipated tradition always gives our students the needed inspiration and motivation to become better performers.
Summer dance workshop was held last April 20 – May 20 to sustain the training of current members and to cater to new students interested to learn ballet and hiphop as their summer worthwhile activity.
