It's Green Valentines for DLSZ

On February 14, 2011, De La Salle Santiago Zobel School will celebrate Valentine’s Day, the Lasallian way.  All students and employees will come in green shirt, long denim pants, and rubber shoes to kick-off the school’s Environmental Advocacy Week that highlights a different kind of love – LOVE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT! SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES
Feb. 14:  Opening of A.G. Saño’s Photo/Painting Exhibit on Marine Life Protection, 9:00am at the CPA Mezzanine
Feb. 14-15:  Haribon Foundation Inc. exhibit on Philippine biodiversity at the AV Rm 1 from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
Feb. 14-15:  Selling of Haribon gift tree packs  at AV Rm 1
Feb. 14-16:  Berde Ka!  Advocates Bazaar of alternative gifts such as arts and crafts from recycled materials, advocacy t-shirts, etc. from  9:00am-3:30pm at the Gate 2 covered walk
Feb. 15:  Lecture Fora on “Environmental Degradation:  A Challenge to the Youth and the Nation” and “Muntinlupa City: On the Path to Resolving Environmental Degradation Through Good Governance” for Sophomores and Seniors, 1:30pm-3:30 at the Sylvia P. Lina Theater
Feb. 16:  Workshop on “Campus Solid Waste Management” for Lower Grades teachers and staff, 2:45pm-4:15pm at the Lower Grades Audio Visual Room
Feb. 16-18:  Commitment & Signature campaign for students, employees, and other partners
Feb. 18:  Story-telling on Climate Change by WWF-Philippines Project Ecokids for Prep to Grade 3 students, 8:30am – 4:30pm
Feb. 18:  Seminar on Campus Solid Waste Management for Upper Grades and High School teachers, 3:30pm-4:30pm at the Sylvia P. Lina Theater
KAMP TUGON (Kalikasan Alay sa Mga Paslit) for the youth from partner institutions and TUGON Volunteers (campsite and schedule to be announced soon)
