During the First National Mining and Metallurgical Engineering Summit High School Program sponsored by UP Diliman Department of Mining, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Clint R. Llesis (DLSZ 2016) won second place in the Poster Making Category held last September 18.
The competition carried the theme, “Current Issues and Breakthroughs in Philippine Mining and Metallurgy”.
The students had pilot plant visit wherein different processes of purifying minerals from rock and soil, and mixing various chemical and reactants were safely demonstrated and explained.
Mr. Herman Yupio was as his trainor. The delegates were accompanied by Mr. Jack Lord dela Cruz, School Counselor.
