DLSZ GS Participates IN CMLI’S 35th Graderscon

The De La Salle Santiago Zobel Grade School students attended for the first time the 35th Graderscon: The Annual National Graders’ Convention held at the Teachers’ Camp in Baguio City, Philippines last September 1-5, 2014.

The convention was sponsored by the Children’s Museum and Library Inc. (CMLI) and was endorsed by the Department of Education. There were 27 schools from all over the Philippines who registered and participated in the said event.
DLSZ students joined in varied academic competitions, training workshops and commission discussions of the convention.

Ms. Clarissa E. Teves, GS- SRCC adviser and coach, led the DLSZ grade school delegation as well as Ms. Ariane C. Candelaria, Grade 6 Filipino teacher and coach.
Ms. Llewelyn S. Embudo, head of the Student Clubs and Activities Office and Ms. Janette Torrato, the Grade School Vice Principal for Academics together with the coordinators and teachers in Reading, Language and Filipino departments were also behind the success of the event.
