DLSZ’s Learning Resource Center (LRC) celebrates the National Children’s Book Week on July 22-25, 2014 with the theme, “Pumitas ng Aklat: Buklatin. Basahin”.
Exciting activities has been lined up to further promote love for reading and to develop a positive attitude towards early literacy. These activities are as follows:
- Book Fair from July 22 to 25 at the Lower Grades Building
- Book Character Parade on July 25
- Special workshops, storytelling and contest for students.
National Children’s Book Week is an annual event of the Philippine Board on Books for the Young people (PBBY) celebrating the exquisite world of Children’s literature. It has been dedicated to encourage young readers to enjoy books.
