Zoob TV, DLSZ’s official cable channel, had Br. Alex Diaz FSC for the first episode of Mga Kwento ni Kuya. This show is relatively similar to Mga Kwento ni Lola Basyang, an anthology of short stories written by Lola Basyang. Instead of Lola Basyang’s stories, Brothers will narrate – in Filipino – significant stories in the life of St. John Baptist de La Salle then be able to relate it to their personal experience as a Brother.
Mga Kwento ni Kuya aims to spread the story of St. John Baptist de La Salle and at the same time promote the vocation of the De La Salle Brothers; to build relationship between Lasallian Brothers and DLSZ students; and to promote the Filipino language.
Last school year, Zoob TV had started featuring Lasallian Brothers in Cooking with Bro. This academic year, they are once again invited but this time in Zoob TV’s newest show.
Mga Kwento ni Kuya is broadcasted in Zoob TV’s Youtube Page, Cablelink Channel 5, and in all digital boards inside the grounds of De La Salle Santiago Zobel School.
