Both Robotics High School teams composed of Joaquin Amante (DLSZ 2018), Davenson Co (DLSZ 2017), John Sebastian Dela Cruz (DLSZ 2017), Jania Rachelle Cruz (DLSZ 2018), Julia Nicole Saulog (DLSZ 2018), and Sofia Iliana Suarez (DLSZ 2018) qualified in the finals of the 12th Philippine Robotics Olympiad. Â
The elimination round of this national contest was held on Septemebr 3, 2013 at Cyberzone SM North Edsa. 94 teams from more than 50 schools in the Philippines participated in the said contest. Only 40 teams qualified in the finals (currently being held) where the eventual top four teams will represent the Philippines in the World Robot Olympiad in October 2013 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
