As a way of keeping the memory of our dear Bro. Ceci Hojilla FSC alive, De La Salle Santiago Zobel will be holding several activities beginning with a Holy Mass on his birthday on February 8, 2012, 7:20 AM at the Our Lady of the Star Chapel. After the mass, several administrators, teachers, and students will head to Bro. Ceci’s final resting place at the Brothers’ Memorial Cloister in Lipa, Batangas. On the same day, the Grade School and High School Student Representative Coordinating Council (SRCC) will conduct a fundraising project dubbed “100 BALOT PARA KAY BR. CECI” where they will sell the high-protein-Filipino-delicacy Balut eggs, known favorite of Bro. Ceci. Proceeds of the sale will be donated to the Library Project of the St. Joseph School-La Salle, Bacolod City. Similarly, Lasalyanong Pinoy Club will hold “Meet Balls 4” where the high school and grade school teachers will engage in a friendly competition with the Basketball and Volleyball varsity teams on February 16 (3:15pm-4:15pm) and February 21, 2012 (2:30pm-3:30pm), respectively. Now on its fourth season, “Meet Balls: Teachers MEET Varsity” aims to develop stronger bonds between teachers and students through sports.
