De La Salle Santiago Zobel (DLSZ) finished second in the first La Salle Trivia Challenge both in the Grade School and High School category held last October 14, 2011 at La Salle Academy in Iligan City, Lanao Del Norte and October 7, 2011 at De La Salle John Bosco College in Bislig City, Surigao Del Sur, respectively.
DLSZ Grade School representatives are Karl M. Lorenzo (DLSZ 2016) and Keane Angelo R. Sales Diaz (DLSZ 2016). The team’s coach is Mr. Jonathan Kit Villar, one of our Campus ministers. On the other hand, Justin Raymond S. Elogriaga (DLSZ 2014) and Beryl Anne Louise P. Tan (DLSZ 2012) were our High School representatives with Ms. Evangeline de Peralta, the Lasallian Formation and Mission Department (LFMD) Director, as their coach.
De La Salle schools all over the country participated in the first La Salle Trivia Challenge. Questions used are based on significant historical facts, people and events that are geared toward the centenary celebration of the De La Salle Brothers presence in the Philippines. In addition to, this event promoted camaraderie among members of the Lasallian community across the country.
