Fourteen (14) school-participants joined the MCL Cup 2018 Gastronomical Challenge: A Culinary Showdown last November 22, 2018 in Malayan Colleges Laguna (MCL) Cabuyao, Laguna. Some of the schools are De La Salle Integrated School Laguna Campus, Las Piñas National Science High School, Malayan High School of Science, Elizabeth Seton School-South, Mater Ecclesiae School, Laguna, Sovereign Shepherd School Values and Learning and many more.
The panel of judges chose three schools as over-all winners.
The awards and prizes given to DLSZ-BRafeNHS as First Runner-Up winners were 50% Scholarship Grant for three (3) terms in MCL, Medals, Trophy, and Freebies (Pouch and MCL Planner).
