SCO invites Parents/Guardians to PEP Talk on Digital Health and Wellness

The School Counseling Office (SCO) invites you to the first Parent Education Program (PEP) Talk entitled Digital Health and Wellness on October 11, 2018, 9:00am – 11:00am at the Debbie Decena Auditorium. This is also the first Lasallian Digital Citizenship talk for parents this academic year.

The topic on Digital Health and Wellness hopes to align with the Mental Health Awareness talks that we also gave to the students last first trimester. This talk aims to enlighten parents/guardians on the inherent dangers of technology and how they can teach their children, protect themselves through education and suggest simple tips or strategies.

We have invited Ms. Michelle Alignay, who co-authored the book, Growing Up Wired: Raising Pinoy Kids in the Digital Age, with Dr. Queena Lee-Chua. Ms. Alignay is also a Family Life Specialist, a registered psychologist and a registered guidance counselor.
