JERARD DOMINIC JACINTO (DLSZ 2020) – BREAKING RECORDS

JERARD DOMINIC “NICO” JACINTO (DLSZ 2020) of the De La Salle Zobel Swim Team recently gave honor to both the school and our country by bagging a silver medal in the recently concluded 42nd SOUTHEAST ASIAN AGE GROUP SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS held in the Trace Aquatic Center in Los Baños Laguna and 2 more silver medals in the ASEAN SCHOOL GAMES HELD in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. NICO as he is called by his friends likewise had  record breaking swim by beating the 7 year record of fellow Lasallian swimmer Johansen Aguilar of De La Salle University.  He represented the country in the Asean school games together with fellow DLSZ swimmer BELA LOUISE MAGTIBAY (DLSZ 2020).

Nico is set to swim his first UAAP this season 81 for DLSZ coming from the University of the East wherein he gave his former school three (3) gold medals. Recently Nico along with former DLSZ swimmer and three-time UAAP MVP Maurice Sacho Ilustre (DLSZ 2018) received Outstanding swimmers awards from the Philippine Sports Commission.

“It has been my dream to swim for De La Salle and finally I will have the chance to do so this coming UAAP,” said Nico.
