Three out of five teams of De La Salle Santiago Zobel School victoriously qualified for the Tournament of Champions of the World Scholar’s Cup to be held at Yale University, USA in September this year.
Attended by one thousand four hundred students (1,400) from 60 countries, the World Scholar’s Cup Global Round was held in Hanoi National Convention Center, Vietnam. It was simultaneously held in Cape Town and Greece from June 26 – July 1, 2017.
The competition included team debate, collaborative writing, Scholar’s Bowl – Quiz Bee, and Scholar’s Challenge consist of topics in Literature, Arts and Music, Special Area, Social Studies, and History. Only 100 teams made it to the Tournament of Champions to be held at Yale University, USA.
