Zobel delegates bagged several awards in competitions for excellence (CFEX) and entertainment (CFEn) during the 39th Annual Summer Convention and Workcamp for the Grade School and High School students in Bolinao, Pangasinan last May 8-12, 2017.
Now on its 60th year, CMLI continues to hone the skills and talents of the Filipino Youth and bring out the best in them, not only through competitions but also through workshops and commission discussions aligned with the theme, “Dream Aloud: Empowering A Generation of Visionary Leaders Towards the Sustainable Growth & Development of our Nation”.
In line with this, the following students brought out the best in them in representing the school in these different competitions:
Julia Laylo (DLSZ 2023) – Champion in Extemporaneous Speech (English), 1st Runner Up in News Writing and Best in Group Theater Workshop
Sofia Beatrice Albis (DLSZ 2023) – Champion in Essay Writing (English) and Best in Group Theater Workshop
Alyssa Nicole Oresca (DLSZ 2018) – Best Project Feasibility Presenter, Champion in Extemporaneous Speech (English), Champion in Poetry Writing (English) and Champion in Editorial Writing
Cholo Aguilar (DLSZ 2021) – Champion in Essay Writing (Filipino) and 1st Runner Up in News Writing (English)
Nicole Ann Reyes (DLSZ BRafeNHS 2020) – Champion in Poetry Writing (Filipino), 2nd Runner Up in Essay Writing English, Best in Casual Wear and Ms. CMLI SummerCon
Jewel Kyle Arbas (DLSZ BRafeNHS 2019) – Champion in News Writing (Filipino)
Jennelle Uadan (DLSZ BRafeNHS 2019) – Champion in Extemporaneous (Filipino) and Champion in Editorial Writing (Filipino)
Also, the highschool delegates won Champion in the Talent Variety Show.
After the five-day convention, the participants surely went home with not only medals and certificates, but also with new treasurable friendships and unforgettable experiences
