The High School Student Representative Coordinating Council for Academic Year 2016 -2017, in cooperation with the Student Clubs and Activities Office, led ABOT LASALYANO, an annual In-Reach Activity of student clubs and organizations last March 11, 2017 at the Sports Pavilion.
A total of 80 children coming from Gawad Kalinga Las Piñas specifically Talampas Area, Cosme Phase 1 Area, Cosme Phase 2 Area, and Southville Area attended the said activity together with their respective adult leaders.
Fourteen clubs and organizations composed of 65 club members actively participated in this yearly event headed by Kirsten Ashley Mayuga, HS SRCC Social Action Vice President. Each club and organization prepared a simple program, parlor games, snacks, and tokens for the children who enjoyed the four-hour bonding with the student leaders.
Now on its fourth year, ABOT LASALYANO is a collaborative project with the Social Action Office and the Lasallian Formation and Mission Department. It aims to reach out to the marginalized sector of the society through a simple fellowship gathering, fun-filled games and simple program, and sharing of school supplies.
The Student Clubs and Activities Office conveys its sincerest gratitude to the participants of this worthwhile activity that stresses the Lasallian Core Value of Zeal for Service.
