Grades 1-6 MTAP Teams' Impressive Performance in Metrobank-MTAP-DepEd Math Challenge 2017

Congratulations to the Grades 1-6 MTAP Teams of DLSZ for their impressive performance in the Elimination Round of the Metrobank-MTAP-DepEd Math Challenge 2017 held last February 16, 2017 in Muntinlupa Science High School.
Among the private schools in the Muntinlupa Division who took the written test, the Grades 1 to 4 teams were the top scorers, with the Grades 1 and 2 even beating the record of the Muntinlupa Division public schools. On the other hand, the Grades 5 and 6 teams ranked second among the private schools in the Muntinlupa Division. The teams are set to compete for the MTAP Area Finals on March 16, 2017 to be held in MGC New Life Christian Academy, Taguig City

Chelsea Lianne Gomez (DLSZ 2023), Jacob Bernas (DLSZ 2026), Emmanuel Jace Savellano (DLSZ 2027), and Matt Gerard Navarro (DLSZ 2028) are also set to compete for the MTAP Individual Finals on March 11, 2017 to be held in San Francisco High School, Quezon City.
They were trained by their competent and dedicated coach, Mr Charlie Amarela, under the Goals for Excellence in Mathematics (GEM) Program of the Grade School Mathematics Unit.
