De La Salle Santiago Zobel School (DLSZ) shall be holding its 3rd PEACE OF ART, a one-day art event attended by students from public and private schools in Muntinlupa, Paranaque and Las Pinas (MUNTIPARLAS) Cities on September 30, 2016 at the DLSZ campus.
This friendly competition aims to use art as a medium to promote the school’s advocacy of peace and non-violence and to enhance the youth’s appreciation of the arts through creative and fun-filled activities.
Cited in 2014 as the Most Creative Event by the Face to Faith Peace Day competition of Peace One Day and the Tony Blair Faith Foundation, the event was participated in by over 100 grade school and high school students from 22 private and public schools in Muntinlupa, Paranaque and Las Pinas Cities. This year will highlight a peace-themed mural-making contest, school museum tour, live-sketching and art workshop by seasoned artists from the Angono Atelier Association.
